As we hunker down in our homes, we are finding new ways to entertain ourselves. Many of us are returning to an old favorite – jigsaw puzzles. This pastime which had long been reserved for cold, snowy Wisconsin days has made a resurgence. It has also become hard to come by just like toilet paper, hand sanitizer and cleaning products.
It isn’t puzzling that our first responders are central pieces to our communities. This fundraiser puzzle celebrates (and supports) Wisconsin’s heroes while providing comfort to children in crisis. All proceeds from puzzle sales benefit Reach-a-Child whose mission is to provide First Responders with bags filled with books and drawstring backpacks to help comfort children-in-crisis. Reach-a-Child serves over 240 emergency agencies across Wisconsin from large cities and counties to small rural towns.
While many of us are puzzled when we’ll return to work or school, our state’s first responders continue to provide support for our communities.
