Warhammer 40000: Shadowspear is a fantastic value Warhammer 40,000 box set that introduces two brand new factions, the Heroic Vanguard Space Marines and the Heretic Daemonkin.

Strike Force Shadowspear is comprised of Vanguard Space Marines that hail from the Ultramarines 2nd Company. These marines have proven themselves to Roboute Guilliman as they fought with distinguished honour at his side during the Indomitus Crusade. The actions of Captain Acheran, a cunning and decisive leader, have earned him numerous battle honours. He has been handpicked by Marneus Calgar to lead the covert investigation of Nemendghast.

The Daemonkin, Black Legionnaires on Nemendghast is lead by a dreaded sorcerer, capable of creating hybrid abominations by fusing Daemon, machine and mortal flesh. He is Vorash Soulflayer holding the title of Master of Possession. In the name of the Warmaster, Horus, he serves as overlord, commanding the Daemonkin warriors and Daemon Engines from within his dread stronghold, the Forge Infernus.
